AACC Student-Athletes, Teams Named NJCAA All-Academic
20 student-athletes, three teams earn accolades
ARNOLD, Md. – Anne Arundel Community College student-athletes have been recognized for academic success by the NJCAA, it was announced Thursday. The women's soccer, baseball, and volleyball teams were named NJCAA All-Academic Teams. The Riverhawks had 20 student-athletes earn individual academic honors as NJCAA All-Academic First, Second, and Third Team honorees.
Of the 20 individuals recognized on the NJCAA All-Academic Teams, AACC had nine on the first team, two on the second team, and nine on the third team. The NJCAA All-Academic Teams recognize student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom.
Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:
- NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
- NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
- NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
Nationwide, 13,915 student-athletes garnered NJCAA All-Academic honors across the three teams.
