Bio

Rice joined the Riverhawks' coaching staff in 2025, and serves as the team's offensive coordinator. He is a familiar face in NJCAA Region 20, having served as assistant coach at Region 20 foe Howard Community College for six seasons. Rice helped guide the Dragons to a pair of Region 20 semifinal appearances and had a direct hand in coaching two All-Region 20 players in Mikiyah Mallet and Nhaikyia Smith. Rice also brings AAU coaching experience.

Rice, who has been a full-time staffer at AACC since 2019, was named the coordinator of student-athlete success in September, 2025. In this role, he oversees retention and academic support initiatives for AACC’s student-athletes, while also assisting with NJCAA eligibility compliance and transfer preparation.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Rice also earned an associate degree in general studies from Howard Community College.
